Jaybird หูฟังบลูทูธ Freedom 2 นั้นจะใช้จุกชิ้นเดียว จากแต่เดิมจะแยกระหว่างจุกกับ wingtip ครับ ซึ่งช่วยให้สวมใส่ง่ายขึ้น โดยสามารถใส่ได้ทั้งแบบปกติและคล้องใบหู ส่วนที่ปรับความยาวสายก็ออกแบบใหม่ให้ใช้งานได้ง่ายยิ่งขึ้นอีกด้วย
Jaybird หูฟังบลูทูธ Freedom 2 ออกแบบมาให้กันเหงื่อสำหรับออกกำลังกายโดยเฉพาะ เชื่อมต่อไร้สายผ่านทาง Bluetooth 4.1 multi point สามารถจับคู่ไว้ได้ 2 อุปกรณ์ มีไมโครโฟนพร้อมรีโมทสำหรับโทรศัพท์
Jaybird หูฟังบลูทูธ Freedom 2 แบตเตอรี่ใช้งานได้นาน 4 ชั่วโมง ด้วยแบตเตอรี่ Li-ion polymer และใช้เวลาชาร์จน้อยกว่า 4 ชั่วโมง โดยสามารถใช้คลิปสำหรับชาร์จแบตเตอรี่เพื่อเติมแบตเตอรี่ให้ได้อีก 4 ชั่วโมง
